What ‘Right to Work’ documents do I need to attach to my application?

For UK citizens, please provide one of the following:
  1. UK Passport OR Birth certificate, adoption certificate, or naturalisation certificate AND Proof of National Insurance Number (any official document or letter that displays your full name and National Insurance Number).
  2. Please ensure all documents are current and clearly legible.
For Irish citizens, please provide one of the following:
  1. Irish passport.
  2. Irish identity card.
  3. Birth certificate, adoption certificate, or naturalisation certificate, AND proof of National Insurance.
(Note: For proof of National Insurance, please submit any official document or letter that clearly states both your name and your National Insurance Number).
For all other citizenships, to verify your eligibility to work in the UK. Please provide one of the following:
  1. Online right to work share code and date of birth.
  2. Unexpired passport and visa vignette or right of abode.
  3. Current Immigration Status Document and proof of National Insurance.
  4. Official letter from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) confirming your residence permit application (must include case number).
This information is required to comply with UK employment regulations. Please ensure all documents are valid and up-to-date.

For student visa holders, your online right to work share code and date of birth OR An official letter from your university or educational institution confirming:
  1. Your current academic term.
  2. Holiday and half-term dates.

Welcome to the Amazon work authorization process! We're excited to have you join our team. To comply with UK regulations and Amazon policies, please follow these steps:
  1. Prepare your UK work authorization documents.
  2. Watch for an email from Deloitte (amazon-rtw@deloitte.co.uk). It will contain a link to our secure GoVerify ID Validation Technology (IDVT) system.
  3. Using the IDVT tool on a camera-enabled smartphone or tablet, you'll take a live photo of your original, hard copy Right to Work documentation.
  4. Complete the process in the IDVT tool. It will guide you through the next steps of your Right to Work check.
  5. Once finished, you'll receive a confirmation email from our Work Authorization team.
Important: This process must be completed before your start date. If not completed, your start date will be postponed.

Here's how to upload your photo.
  1. Log in at Jobsatamazon.co.uk/app#/login
  2. Click the Menu tab (upper right corner)
  3. Select "My Personal Information"
  4. Choose "Edit Attachments"
  5. Enter a Document Name
  6. Click "Browse" to select your photo
  7. Click "Upload" h. Select "Save & Continue"
Verify that your photo appears in your attachments.
